Tanya Simon-Hall’s journey into menstrual health advocacy wasn’t one she chose, it was one she was forced into. Diagnosed with adenomyosis and endometriosis after years of being dismissed and unheard, she learnt firsthand the devastating impact of medical gaslighting and the lack of education surrounding menstrual health. What started as a deeply personal struggle turned into a mission to ensure no one else suffers in silence.
Determined to create change, Tanya founded The Adeno Gang, a organisation dedicated to menstrual health education, advocacy, and policy change. What began as an online support network on instagram has evolved into a nationally recognised organisation delivering menstrual health workshops in schools, workplaces, and communities. Alongside her educational work, Tanya has collaborated with major brands, including Bayer, Nurofen, and Tesco HQ, to raise awareness and improve conversations around menstrual health.
Tanya’s impact extends beyond education, she is actively shaping policy. She has spoken at Downing Street, the House of Commons, and parliamentary roundtables, leading discussions on menstrual health and the urgent need for systemic change. She is spearheading the development of the UK’s first Menstruation APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group), ensuring menstrual health is recognised as a public health priority at the policy level.
A multi-award-winning speaker and educator, Tanya has been recognised with the We Are The City Rising Star Award, the Self Made Community Impact Award, and the Most Influential CEO (Education Services) Award for her groundbreaking work. She has also collaborated with Wellbeing of Women alongside HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh and the Women’s Health Ambassador for England, amplifying the conversation on menstrual health at the highest levels.
What started as her pain became her purpose. Now, Tanya uses her voice to create change, challenge outdated narratives, and ensure menstrual health is recognised as a fundamental part of well-being. Through The Adeno Gang, corporate partnerships, and government engagement, she is driving real change. One conversation, one workshop, and one policy at a time.
